PRODUCT INFORMATION
Source of antibodies
Monoclonals: |
IgG antibodies are purified from mouse ascites fluid by ammonium sulphate precipitation and protein-A chromatography. |
IgM antibodies are partially purified from mouse ascites fluid by precipitation with polyethylen glycol. |
|
Polyclonals: |
Antibodies are produced in rabbits and absorbed against bovine serum albumin or glutaraldehyd albumin. |
Available as
Monoclonals: |
1. |
Lyophilized powder, 1 mg or 0.5 mg vials. |
2. |
In solution containing 50 mM Tris, 100 mM NaCl, pH 7.4, 0.02 % NaN3. 1 ml vials with 0.5 mg IgG/ml or the amount of IgM precipitated from 1 ml of ascites fluid. |
|
Polyclonals: |
In serum with 0.1 % NaN3 added. 1 ml antiserum per vial. |
|
Lyophilyzed monoclonals should be stored at 4 °C. Solutions of monoclonal antibodies should be stored
at 4 °C, or for longer periods at -20 °C or below. Serum should be stored at -20°C or below.
